Crosscall is a French mobile brand created and run by the company Tech&Me SAS whose headquarters is in Châteauneuf-les-Martigues near Marseille. It develops a series of mobile telephone devices intended mainly for outdoor leisure activities and professionals in restrictive environments..
3 models are offered under Android (4.0.4) : Wild, Element et Odyssey, whose prices range respectively from 149 up to 315 € approximately at resellers. Dust and waterproof, equipped like most smartphones with a GPS receiver associated with a cellular location service, they can be used perfectly with maritime navigation applications.
The Wild is the most affordable in the range, with a 3.5" TFT display and a resolution of 320×480 (like the old iPhone 3GS). IP67 rating (*).
The Element model has the largest display, a 4.5" QHD tempered glass with a resolution of 540×960, Particularly resistant to drops and shocks. IP67 rating.

First digit : Protection against solid bodies (dust, sand)
- 5 = Protected against dust
- 6 = Completely dustproof.
Second digit : Liquid protection
