This blog aims to provide users of tablets and smartphones running Android as much information about marine use their devices. After the growing success of Apple iPhone and iPad for navigation, due mainly to the richness of the applications developed, but also to the quality of the devices, it seemed impossible not to be interested in the leading operating system for mobile devices, Google.
When starting this blog, the number of applications concerning maritime navigation on Android is still very limited. But it seems certain that the share of the growing market of this system of ’ operation and the quality of recently appeared devices will encourage IOS developers to port their apps on Android. This is the challenge that I am launching this blog, with perhaps a little ahead, but a certain confidence in the near future of the navigation under Android.
